Zoraida Cases

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Zoraida Cases was interested in the world of fashion since childhood. She began her studies of pattern making, sewing and clothing at AFHA, Barcelona (1980-1982), obtaining an outstanding qualification,. especially in the creative area. Subsequently, she trained as a teacher of Spanish Dance at the dance academy of José Espadero (Alicante).

In 1990, she founded her own dance school where she worked as director, teacher and choreographer, doing the design, pattern making and making of all their shows: theater, musicals, pageantry by Moors and Christians, etc. Until 2014, when she decided to dedicate herself completely to fashion.

In 2014, she moved to Madrid to update herself by taking a Haute Couture course under the direction of Ion Fiz, with whom she later collaborates in her “APRE SKI” 2016 collection, presented at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid and in the “LE PRESAGE” SS2016 collection, presented at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid and in its debut at Paris Fashion Week with the Spring Summer 2016 collection.

Meanwhile, in 2015, Zoraida creates her own firm: Zoraida Cases, being “A WOMAN´S DREAM” SS2017 her first collection, presented at Alicante Fashion Week within the category of established designers together with Modesto Lomba, Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, among others. Later, she presented it in Momad. Metropolis 2017.

In May 2017, the designer received the Gold Medal for Professional Prestige as Fashion Designer of the Europa Forum 2001.

In October 2017, Zoraida Cases presented the “FLAPPER” SS2018 collection at Alicante Fashion Week, Murcia Catwalk Mediterranean and in the Catwalk of the Arts of Valencia.

In 2019, she received the International Art Prize awarded by the Fondazione Costanza in recognition of her exceptional merits in the field of Art.
